Recently my Wife and I had the opportunity to visit Virgin Islands National Park. We started at the visitor center topped off our water containers and headed out. The trailhead we began was at Cruz Bay we hiked north along the shoreline to Salomon beach. The trail was well maintained but very rocky and full of hermit crabs. The beach was typical Virgin Islands: water clear and blue. After snorkeling we hiked down to Honeymoon beach in Caneel Bay. Just as beautiful with full services (food, drinks and water sports rentals). I would highly recommend spending a day or two exploring Virgin Islands National Park.
